Distance Reiki sessions work in a similar fashion to traditional in-person sessions where the practitioner acts as a channel for the Reiki energy directing it to the recipient. It can even be sent to past or future events. Thank you so much for the distant Reiki. A curious thing... even as I signed up for it I felt embraced by a lovely energy! Being over here on French time, your ten p.m is my four o,clock in the morning. I was fast asleep at the allotted time, so I guess I could not have been more relaxed. Anyway, the following day just went so well. I have been working on composing some music for meditation, and feeling pretty washed out from winter, have not been connecting with the energy I am trying to manifest as sound.  I awoke that morning feeling something had shifted, and have continued to feel that way, and have produced some lovely vibrations.
